Keil’s dev kit for NXP LPC 1700 Cortex-M3 MCUs

Keil has introduced an evaluation board and starter kit to support NXP’s LPC1700 Cortex-M3 processor-based family.

Designated the MCB1760, the evaluation board features a LPC1768 microcontroller running at up to 100MHz, together with a colour QVGA LCD, Ethernet, USB, CAN, SD/MMC card interface, and UARTs. Memory is 512kbyte of flash and 64kbyte of RAM.

The board has 70 GPIO pins, JTAG, Serial Wire, and ETM Trace interfaces.

Software support includes ready-to-run example projects for the MCB1760 built around the Keil RTX Real-Time Kernel, also included as part of MDK-ARM. The real-time software library, includes CAN, flash file system and USB device examples ported to the MCB1760 board.

The MCB1760 is available from Keil and distributors Hitex UK and Nohau UK.
