Picture of the Day: Pud’s novelty headphones

Following last week’s humorous storage t-shirt, here is more fun for a Friday. We’re talking customised, novelty headphones…

Check out Ol’ Thumpy, above, for example. Or the horned Blasphemy? Or “Headphones”?

They are the work of Pud’s. This produces, in small-batches, off-the-wall hand-crafted headphones. And it turns out its the work of Philip J. Kaplan, founder of DistroKid, an independent digital music distribution service…

And my number one favourite could be Pinnus, with its fake ears. Hilariously dubbed the ‘invisible’ headphones, they are named after the “pinna” part of your ear (as depicted – your visible, outer ear).

A minority taste perhaps, but I also fancy the Cephalapods…
