The configurable user interface of the UDE provides i.MX25 users with unrestricted C/C++ support, a symbol browser, configurable toolbars, context related menus and HTML as description language for application-specific windows.
The UDE enables kernel and application debugging of ARM7 and ARM9 based processors in parallel through one user interface when using Embedded Linux. Connection to the i.MX25 device takes place via the standard JTAG interface.
In combination with pls’ Universal Access Device 2 (UAD2), download rates of greater than 1.0Mbyte/s can be achieved via the JTAG interface. This not only guarantees developers of i.MX25 based multimedia applications a fast flash programming, but also short turnaround times.
