Renesas has Segger RTOS and TCP/IP stack for SH7670

Renesas Technology, working with Segger, has launched a TCP/IP stack, embedded graphical user interface and real-time operating system (RTOS) for Renesas’ SH7670 SuperH microprocessor.

Written in C, the emWin embedded GUI supports any type of graphical display, from simple graphics devices up to high-end graphics applications with semi-transparency, anti-aliasing and widgets.

A Windows simulation package is included that can be used to write and test the entire user interface on a PC.

There is also embOS, a zero interrupt latency RTOS that has been optimised for minimum memory consumption in both RAM and ROM. The modular structure means that only necessary functions are linked, keeping the ROM size small.

The embOS/IP stack is written in C and features C socket.h-like API for user applications, meaning that an application using the standard C socket library can easily be ported to use embOS/IP.

embOS, embOS/IP and emWin trial licenses for the SH7670RSK are available.
